God Bless America

I hope this 4th of July finds you feeling blessed and happy we live in such an amazing country.

We’re BBQ’n and drinking beer today to celebrate not only country’s birth, but mine too.   Yep I’m a 4th of July baby.  When I was little I liked to say the fireworks were for me.  Now that I’m older, and that next decade is creeping just to close for comfort, I can’t help but think how amazing this country is.  All the men and women that serve and their families.  For the advances in equality and equal rights.  For the simple thing of speaking your mind and being able to stand up for what you believe in.   That is an amazing thing.

Happy 4th of July Everyone!  I hope today finds you enjoying the company of family and friends!

Glamour and Grace Wedding Blog

There are a million wedding planning blogs it seems like.  Every time you turn around there’s a new one to explore.  The best part about all that information is you can find the planning blog that fits your style.  One that’s as unique as you.  Glamour and Grace is blog for the modern vintage bride.  Megan does an amazing job finding weddings, ideas and inspiration!  I love a modern take on anything vintage.  And anyone or anything named Grace!  :)

As a recent sponsor of Glamour and Grace, Megan did a post on moi!  Thank you so much Megan!  Check it out, you’ll be glad you did!

Enjoying Life As It Happens

No one ever damaged their eyesight

by looking on the brighter side of life.

It’s been a crazy couple of weeks with multiple weddings, lots of family and working on a total re-due of the website, but it’s been good.  Life never

ceases to amazing me on how I can’t plan everything I want.  Or just everything in general.  I blame the over thinking architect and Nybo side of the family.

But how boring would it be if you could plan everything?

Cutie pie is Josilyn, my favorite college roommate’s daughter.  Weddings to come hopefully in the next week.  :)

Horse Shoe Flea Market

What happens when you give life to a dream?  Amazing things.  Amy had a dream to start a market, not just any market, but something Denver desperately needed.

A place for all the awesome local vendors to come together and show off their best goods.  A flea market with flair and style.   So just about year ago that’s exactly

what Amy did.  And look at that dream now, a whopping 110 vendors!  A huge success and accomplishment and I’m so honored to know this amazingly talented women.  Amy you rock!

If you missed it Saturday don’t worry the next one is August 6th so mark it on your calender and get your booty over to 46th and Tennyson to support local!

Check out the Horse Shoe Flea Market on their website and facebook.

Seriously people this is an event you don’t want to miss!  Can’t wait for August!

A Mother’s Love

There are times when only a Mother’s love
Can understand our tears,
Can soothe our disappoints
And calm all of our fears.
There are times when only a Mother’s love
Can share the joy we feel
When something we’ve dreamed about
Quite suddenly is real.
There are times when only a Mother’s faith
Can help us on life’s way
And inspire in us the confidence
We need from day to day.
For a Mother’s heart and a Mother’s faith
And a Mother’s steadfast love
Were fashioned by the Angels
And sent from God above.

Happy Mother’s Day Mom!  And to all the amazing mothers out there!
