The Artist in me has three
Faithful, sleepless
And self-giving friends:
A newness-eye, a oneness-heart
And a fulness-life.I love using photography and art together to bring a room to life. Sprinkling in family photos with your favorite art can bring a lot of personality to a display. And I like that I can use smaller pieces of paintings, which makes it cheaper. We’re all looking to maximize a dollar right? Plus I love finding small pieces of art when we travel and then incorporating that into our wall displays. A little mini reminder of our travels.

Sometimes people confuse me for Katherine Heigl (ok maybe not but a girl can dream), sometimes for the baby sitter and mom and dad are leaving. Which do you think little 17 month old Chase thought? Tears….hug crocodile tears.

After a little impromptu dance party she was ready to flirt for the camera. Could you just give her a million kisses!?Just a typical day of a cute barefoot family crowded up on the couch with the iPadDid the Tooth Fairy make a stop at the Huber House?Love Amy planning with Paige.

I love handmade. It indulges our creative side whether you made the item or someone else did. Something that we just don’t do much of these days.

This beauty is from Zipper8lighting. It takes so much talent and thought to up-cycle.

Imagine sitting in a small corner nook in your house on a cold winters evening. The lamp above you glowing a soft golden light while you snuggle up with a favorite book. An art piece that’s personal and creates so much atmosphere. My kind of art.
