This is a good one people, a wedding that speaks volumes of a couple.  Something I want all couples to find in planning their wedding.  I got an email the other day from Katie that just made my heart happy.  An email that just radiated the kind of person she is.
I’ve only met Katie for one day.  On a day when both her and Peter should have a million other things on their mind then to even remember my name.   Let alone email me after the wedding.

Normally, and I say that with enthusiasm, when I’m a second shooter I don’t really get to the know the couple all that well.  Which is to be expected, but Katie and Peter were not the usual wedding.  And Julie Harris and I work so well together, like peas in a pod, I had to say yes when she asked me to second.

Peter and Katie are the reason I LOVE weddings, really truly and honestly.  They did their wedding the way they wanted it done.  A ceremony that reflected what is most important to them and the kind of people they are.  Sweet, genuine and head over heels in love.  The perfect combination of down-to-earth creative style.
I am so thrilled to share these photos!  Seriously the setting is one for the record books too.  Thank you Peter and Katie for being such beautiful people inside and out.  I’m filled with gratitude that I was able to be there.

On a personal note.  I discovered that I’m actually a half an inch taller then I thought….because being 6′ tall isn’t tall enough apparently. 

And I turn 30 tomorrow!  I’m actually really kinda excited about this birthday!  It’s like one amazing chapter is ending while a whole new chapter of life is starting.  Makes you wonder all kinds of things for the next decade!
