‘Love doesn’t just sit there like a stone, it has to be made, like brick; re-made all the time, made new.’
– Ursula K. LeGuin
A wedding is the just beginning of something far greater, deeper, more whole. It’s the expression of what you feel for each other. It’s the chance to bring together a group of people that will only gather because of the two of you.
Marriage takes work. A lot of work. It can not be set on the shelf to collect dust, it is rather the force that will bring you together or tear you apart. It’s up to you to care for it and learn it’s powers.
Sabrina and James understand this and know that the wedding is just the start of something far greater then themselves. I love the simplicity of their day. They’re own backyard with their closest family and friends gathered around them while the sun set. No pomp and circumstance, just genuine love for the journey they are about to embark on.
I photograph just 3 weddings a year, I’d be honored to be at your genuine love celebration. Contact me today.
