Denver Family Photographer, Harrington Family

These last few days of a beautiful Indian summer have me thinking the summer can’t possibly be over.  Our garden is still busting with produce.  The sky is so blue it seems that we could be just miles from an ocean.  And playing outside is the only place I want to be.  Aren’t we all just trying to soak up the last few moments of warm weather?  I don’t want to be sad with the passage of time, it makes you think that all the good times have passed.  When that’s far from the truth.  Everyday seems to be better then the last.  New adventures prove to be full of amazing wonders.  And my own heart grows with each passing challenge.

To be sad would be to mourn and that is far from how I feel.  No.  I want to dance in the celebration and marvel at the adventures we’ve had.  Because there are more to come.  Bigger and even more wonderful.  I want to smile with fondness and remember this past summer as being a time we cherished each day.  Rose to the challenges of the day with gratitude! And loved more fiercely then I thought possible.

So I turn to the next season just waiting around the corner with excitement and honor.  This is going to be an amazing season!

This is what the Harrington Family taught me.  That each day we can run out the door to life with open arms.  We can play till the sun goes down and then play some more.  We can just be with each other and know that that is enough.  Thank you Harrington Family.  Cheers!
