Have you ever thought of leaving everything behind and running off into the world just so you can find yourself? That somehow that would make it easier to figure out what you really want out of life. I don’t think it’s so much about finding yourself as it is about creating yourself. What your parents tell you as a child is true, you can be whatever you want to be.
Everyday we’re influenced by what our parents, friends, peers, spouses have to say, and we think less and less for ourselves. What is it that I want? Sounds kinda selfish. But I think it’s an important to ask yourself before forging ahead into something you may not really want. What’ important to me and what do I care about the most?
I’m not sure why I like this photo, it’s not overly exciting. Or have any great lighting. It’s just a glimpse at life. All you can see is what’s behind you while the world races by in a blur. Figure out what’s really important and make every moment count, that’s what finding yourself is to me. Life may not be what you thought it was going to be, but what in life ever is?
