A Beautiful Adventure

We don’t talk often.  Really we’re lucky to trade a few emails a year.
She’s the friend you can not talk to for years and yet some how pick up right where you left off.  Like nothing has changed.
I knew when I got a call from Raphaele something big was happening.
She became an instant friend from the moment she came to stay with us when we were barely 16 and 17.
It was her home in Paris, that I spent my first real trip away from home at 18.
I always told Cody when the day came, we’d be getting on a plane to see her tie the knot.
That day came just 6 months after D was born.
I love to travel, I mean LOVE to travel.
Traveling with a small child can’t be that different….

It was but mostly in really great ways.

So when Delilah was 5 and half months old we boarded a plane for Nice, France.
We took off on a trip that forever changed the way Cody and I see travel and how we see our little family.

Part One was spent with Raph and her family soaking up the French Riviera.
