Her love affair with books started young.
As soon as she could crawl she would find the nearest book.
Now she’s incredable picky about which books we read and she’s not afraid to tell me!
In the beginning we had a small table next to the rocker that held a few books.
She discovered she could pull them down and have a little book party on the floor.
It was almost dusk by the time I caught her in her heaven of books so I had to push the ISO and shutter. Since it’s dark I have to work with the light and shoot with it.  So the light is coming in behind me and illuminating her face.  If I shot facing the window I’d have to push the ISO and shutter even more beacuse it’s considerably darker. (check out the below image top right)
In other words, when it’s dark, shoot with the light in your favor if your struggling with your shutter speed.
D is once again the focus of the story I’m telling.
It’s her love affair with the books.
The other angles I tried focused on the books because of the light in the room.
It tells a story, but not the one I wanted.
In story telling you have to know what story you’re telling.
What are you trying share with your image?
Then move around and find the spot that conveys that.books
