Because everyone needs time together

‘Today is the first day of the rest of your life’

- Dale Carnegie

One day out of thousands you feel like everything is perfect, you have everything you could ever hope for.  But life happens and things get messy. You forget that feeling of perfect and start dwelling on the want list instead.

I want to propose the idea of taking time to get lost in your partners eyes.  To relish in their beauty and remember again that life is perfect.  That anything is possible with that person by your side.

The day of love, Valentine’s Day, is approaching.  Why not instead of bringing home flowers or candy embrace your unique love story and document it.  Spend time in each others arms showing each other just how much you love and appreciate them.

Couple’s Session I believe can do this.  Time spent laughing, hugging and getting that feeling back.  Whether you’ve been married a year, 5 years or 50 years.  Finding that love that’s been there all along and capturing it.  Capturing it so you can always see how much love is there.

It’s about celebrating your love story, no matter where your book mark falls.

If this sounds like something you would like to experience, email me

If you book before Valentine’s Day, I have a little surprise for you!

I would love to hear your unique love story.

xoxo – Rachael

Grant Humphrey’s Wedding, Hillary and John

Chic, romantic and true.  Hillary and John are just that.  It still blows my mind how two people can meet and fall in love and be so perfect for each other.  I really think there has to be someone out there for each of us.  A perfect match made in heaven.  It sounds so cheesy, but yet it feels so true and good to say.   Sometimes when you’re least expecting it to the unbelievable happens.

My Second shooter Stacy had fun shooting some expired film in a twin lens camera.  Thank you so much Hillary and John for allowing me to come into your lives and sharing  just a piece of it with me.   I can’t wait to see where this world takes you!

Devils Thumb Ranch Wedding, Stacey and Joe

It only took me 4 years of shooting weddings to find it, but it’s official.  Pay attention Cody, Devil’s Thumb Ranch is where I would have our wedding renewal.  :)

Enough about me.  Stacey and Joe are my kinda people.  They’re relaxed and love to laugh.  And they love on one another like there’s no tomorrow.  Their wedding was small, but surrounded by family and friends that it seemed there wasn’t enough room for all the love.  It just doesn’t get any better then that.

I’ve been following Stacey on Pinterest (which if you haven’t discovered Pinterest yet, it’s a black hole of wasting time looking at beautiful things).  Stacey’s wedding board was gorgeous.  I kept thinking if her wedding is anything like her inspiration board…well it’s going to be spectacular.  And Stacey did not disappoint.  Her details were AMAZING!  Just perfect and delightful.

Big Thank you to Jazmine at Touch of Bliss!

Stacey and Joe’s Couple’s Session

You’ve opened a window

You’ve shown me the light

And my love for you will continue to burn bright.

Stacey and Joe melted my heart right from the moment we met.  They are so in love and care so deeply for each other.  Joe is leaving for basic training to join the Special Opts team.  Dedication, devotion and steadfast love is what gets you through the times apart.  My prays and gratitude to you Joe.  Come home safe to your beautiful Stacey. Their wedding to come soon too!
