Photography is a way of feeling

‘Photography is a way of feeling,

of touching, of loving.  What you have caught on film

is captured forever…

It remembers little things,

long after you have forgotten everything.’

(Hua and Francis wedding shot with Julie Harris.)

Chautauque Park Wedding, Adrienne and Evan

Ok so I’ve finally finished!  Adrienne and Evan’s wedding was so amazing.  They’re just the sweetest couple and all the details of the day.  Just exploding with eye candy!  It was a long day, but it didn’t feel that way.  It went by so fast and with so many amazing moments to capture.  I hope everyone enjoys looking at the photos as much as I enjoyed being a part of this amazing couple’s big day.

Quite possibly the best kiss ever.

Adrienne surprised Evan by singing ‘At Last’ by Etta James.  There wasn’t a dry eye in the place.  And Adrienne can singing.  WOW!

Chautauqua Park Wedding, Adrienne and Evan

‘Adrienne did you know you’d be up before dawn to get ready for your 10:30am ceremony?’  Because a photographer has to ask why on earth she’s getting up so early.  Adrienne’s responds.  ‘Nope.  I thought how long can it take to get ready?’  Despite the fact everyone was up before dawn and was getting sauced the night before, they were all in great spirits.  I absolutely adore Adrienne and Evan.  They were only married yesterday but I can tell you right now it’s just the beginning of a very long loving marriage.

I started going through all the photos….and there are A LOT of photos.  I stopped just after the ceremony and took count of my ‘favorites’ … 48 so far.  Huh I think that’s going to be very long blog post.  For now here’s my personal favorite.  Doesn’t Adrienne look beautiful and so elegant?

Chautauqua Park Engagement, Adrienne and Evan

Kissing is cliche.  I didn’t want to say it that way but Evan pretty much had me pegged and put the words right in my month.  Not to say kissing is bad, it’s not.  But it is the easiest way to show you love someone.  Most couples when I ask them to ‘love on each other’ the first thing they do is kiss.  Great I love kissing, but lately I’ve been wanting more then that.  Real emotion that doesn’t necessarily involve kissing.  Love has so many more layers then just what you show on the outside.  And I want nothing more then to bring as many layers out as possible, to help you show the world how much you love each other.   Adrienne and Evan were TOTALLY on the same page with me, which was spectacular!  I have to say I LOVE the other ways they chose to show their affection for each other.  And they definitely adore one another!

And check out their kids!  Oh yea!  The sweetest dogs you’ll ever meet too.  And WAY more well behaved then my 65 pound lab.

Can’t wait for your wedding in just a few short weeks!
