A simple morning wedding celebrating two people that have been there for each other for over ten years.  A beautiful way to spend my Friday morning.  Steph and Mike got married on the tenth anniversary of their first date.  Isn’t that cute?  Neither one is overly frilly or over the top in anyway, and their wedding reflected their simple down to earth style.  And what a better setting then Red rocks do you need?  Congratulations Steph and Mike!  It was an honor and privilege to be there.

And it’s not Red Rocks without some wild life.  It definitely entertained the kids.

‘Adrienne did you know you’d be up before dawn to get ready for your 10:30am ceremony?’  Because a photographer has to ask why on earth she’s getting up so early.  Adrienne’s responds.  ‘Nope.  I thought how long can it take to get ready?’  Despite the fact everyone was up before dawn and was getting sauced the night before, they were all in great spirits.  I absolutely adore Adrienne and Evan.  They were only married yesterday but I can tell you right now it’s just the beginning of a very long loving marriage.

I started going through all the photos….and there are A LOT of photos.  I stopped just after the ceremony and took count of my ‘favorites’ … 48 so far.  Huh I think that’s going to be very long blog post.  For now here’s my personal favorite.  Doesn’t Adrienne look beautiful and so elegant?

Today was just a normal day, nothing much going on really.   So to open the front door and find three copies of The Knot Colorado waiting on my doorstep….well let’s just say I may have jumped up and down a little.  :-)   Amy and Doug are definitely one of favorite couples and to have their wedding featured is just icing on the cake.  Their gorgeous Breckenridge Colorado wedding was at the Elk Ridge Ranch last June.   I believe the Fall/Winter 2010 issue hits the stands soon!

A huge thank you to the Amazing team of vendors too!  Debbie with Save the Dates, Erin with Plum Sage Flowers and Rachel with Intricate Icings.  (Rachel’s sweets will melt your knees and make you want to move in with her just to eat the batter of whatever she’s making.  Seriously)

I spent this morning with Adrienne and Evan.  LOVE these two!  They totally get it and they’re not afraid to show affection in more ways then just kissing.  ;-)   It was such a fabulous shoot I wanted to share one before the holga film comes back.  Can not wait for these two to tie the knot in June!

Michele & Thomas

It’s always nice to end the season on a beautiful intimate wedding.  Michele and Thomas are just so fun to be around.  Easy going and always more concerned about the people around them then even themselves.  I loved this wedding.  It was all in the evening after the sun went down, which just made the warm lights glow even more.  Just a wonderful evening!

And the Denver Museum of Nature and Science was a gorgeous back drop.  Michele did an awesome job with the details, and all on a tight budget!
