A Giving Heart
This time of year it’s easy to give. It’s the whole meaning of Christmas.
For me though I want that giving heart to last all year round. I want to make a difference everyday.
Leave the world a better place.
With every session I do, I give $50 to Edge of Seven for girls education. Fifty dollars means a girl in Nepal can go to school all year.
It means she has a shot at a bright future. These girls in Nepal touched my heart deep. Permanently.
What gets you excited or fired up? I believe there is a cause for everyone that lights their fire deep inside. If you don’t feel it, keep looking. It’s out there. And when you find it you will know. You’ll tear up whenever you think about it. Every fiber of your being stands up and screams YES!
So often we forget after the holidays to continue to give. Life happens and other things become ‘more important.’
But I’m fighting back.
So I made 3 reasons to give year round. Reasons to give love and gratitude for all your blessings.
1. You reap what you sow. Give and it will come back to you ten fold. Without a doubt.
2. It teaches our children so many lessons about life, humanity, and acceptance.
3. The world needs more love. What would the world look like if people gave love to each other more freely?
This December and every month after, give to something that lights you up. The world needs more of that love and light!
