Project 52; Week 8 We Just Rock

ba ba ba ch awaw da da
To everyone all day long you chatter away.
But just like me you are not a morning person.
And no more morning nursing has made you one confused sad little babe in the morning.
So we snuggle and rock until you wake up and feel ready for another day.
There’s no rushing this process.
We just rock.
Once the world has righted itself again you happily chipper away.
Spinning tales of adventure and wonder I imagine.
The early morning snuggle is what I thought we would give up not nursing anymore.
But we are birds of a feather and I think you love it just as much as I do.
The smell of a sleepy babe is the best way to wake.
My sweet babe.
You have softened and opened my heart in ways I may never even know.
