It’s not the word before parent that defines, but rather the love and dedication in the parents heart.

It truly takes a special mama and papa to open their heart and home to a child that has no family. From the very beginning Jen and Loren knew they would one day adopt.  They didn’t know when or who, but some day God would place the right child in their family.  And he did. From the moment she entered the McDaniel home, she blended in like she’d always been there.  Her big brother Evan and her were siblings from the start and it felt like she had been written in the stars long ago.  Indeed she was.
Tears flowed as each person in Sophie’s adoption story had nothing but awe struck amazement in how perfectly she fit into this family, her family.
It was not always easy on the long road to adoption, but the family in the end is always more beautiful then you could have ever imagined.
