We race and chase after children, jobs, relationships, and life. We know we need to slow down and enjoy life. We know that these small moments matter and are what we will want to remember when we’re old. But the rat race of life takes hold quick without regard for our wants. It is a beast that doesn’t go away easily, only to return with a vengeance. This is why we find the time to slow down and revel in the little things. Marvel at the little habits of our children, that on a normal day might drive us mad. We slow down to enjoy the laughter and long pause of a life well lived. It can’t fix the rat race we call life, but it can ease it and pull us back closer to what really matters. Loving our family.
Grateful to walk into a slice of life and hopefully leave filling their hearts with soul goodness.
