First Birthday Squeals of Delight

She squealed with delight as I walked in.
Her legs still bandaged from visiting the doctor.
Just as I was about to bend down for a hug she turns and runs away still squealing with delight.
Those squeals, I wish you could bottle them up.
A soft touch from a toddler hand.
The baby chub still lingering on her legs.
All of it.
Birthdays always make us stop and take stock of the past year.
They make us reminisce and dream of the future.
What will they learn in the next year?
How can one little human change so much in what seems like such a short time?
Happy birthday Harlow! You are so deeply loved.

We’re filling our summer days of pool dates, backyard BBQ’s, and trips to the Zoo.
If you’re still thinking of doing a summer session book now! There’s only a few dates left before the cool weather sets in.
xoxo – Rachael
