Places We Never Imagined
There were days that the hustle and bustle of a city filled a hearts desire.
When busyness meant loads of work, friends, and traveling.
It all changed with a beautiful surprise, like a butterfly finding it’s wings for the first time.
Now bird songs and golden evenings lying on a quilt while she dances around you fill the heart.
This motherhood thing fits you like the mountains meeting the sky.
Even on the days the clouds blanket the earth.
Dreams have a funny way of taking us to places we never imagined.
Julie and Jesse took a life they once loved and did something bold.
They simplified.
Sold the house and moved to the country.
They dared to slow time down and find what truly called them.
Even when they weren’t exactly sure what was calling them.
I love that about them.
Julie is an amazingly talented photographer and also writes a heart center blog about motherhood.
