We waited for you.
We thought about.
And wondered about you.
Until one day, you’re mommy and daddy said ‘It’s Time!’
Birth no matter how it happens, it’s exhausting, messy, & completely unpredictable.
On the other side of the birth tunnel is this little bundle of newness.
A little bundle with their sweet smells, and soft sighs.
Being there to usher my dear dear friends into parenthood brought tears to my eyes to many times to count.
And now to see her adjusting so well to her new role, makes my heart burst.
It’s not easy, but she is taking it all in stride and with grace.
A kind of knowing that will serve her well years to come.
