A Year Gone By
There’s something to say about making it to that one year mark. Before kids, a year didn’t mean much. Maybe a job change or a new house, but life generally felt and looked the same year after year. Post kids, life looks 180 degrees different from those first early days of newborn baby life. Your little one has grown into a mobile, babbling, full of personality human. You yourself have grown into a person your pre-baby self would barely recognize. Your confidence has grown and your feet have landed back under you. Those newborn days feel sometimes light years ago and some days like it was yesterday. Could it really only be a year?
As each year passes the changes continue at light speed and you feel torn between wanting to see them grow, learn, and staying little just a little longer. A constant push and pull of the heart.
Congrats Stacey & Joe on not only surviving the first year, but thriving and growing into amazing parents to Jax.
