Have you thought your life is to messy and cluttered to truly take the photos you want of your kids? As hard as I try to be minimalist and clutter free, the clutter still finds a way to infiltrate my life. How does that happen every single day?
You can only clean so much before that’s all your doing. How about instead of worrying about the clutter and the mess, you just cut it all out? Fill the frame so to speak with what you DO WANT to photograph and get rid of the rest. I do this trick ALL THE TIME.
It’s instantly more visually appealing and your kids (ie your subjects) are put right in the spot light where you want them. The picture becomes about them instead of all the clutter and mess laying around.

Is there still clutter, sometimes. But it’s lessened by the predominate subject in the frame now.
Give it a try. Zoom in or step closer to your child and fill the entire frame with them. Post in the Facebook Group how filling the frame has changed your pictures for the better.
