Project 52; Week 11. Those Brown Eyes
Oh those big brown eyes melt me to a puddle every time!
And you know it too. Lord help us when you’re older!
Spring is here! And not a moment to soon.
You haven’t struggled with teething since you were just 5 months old,
but this week has been brutal for everyone.
Lots of extra snuggles and distractions are the name of the game.
And every evening I find myself counting down the hours till your Daddy gets home.
You’re trying so hard lately to talk and communicate too.
Sometimes even getting the first letter of a word.
It blows my mind how much you understand already!
You’re always sharing and babbling about something.
You even started to help clean up your toys at the end of the day.
You learned to climb up onto the chair and sit so proud and happy.
Then squeal with delight when Champ comes over to sniff you.
Life is good little monkey. Life is good.
