Your Papa was getting ready to leave, so we said ‘say good-bye to Daddy!’
“no go!”
Not just one word, but two words and clear as day!
I’ve waited for the day that your words start forming into English instead of gibberish.
To know what’s going on in your mind is like opening Pandora’s box.
Maybe I’ll change my mind when your 4 and a constant chatter…
But probably not.
Let the words flow like water my girl!
I will never stop listening with wonder and excitement.
We have our first ‘just us girls’ night tonight with your Daddy out of town.
Does it make me a bad mom to want to keep you up and watch old episodes of PBS?
Or maybe your first movie! With popcorn!
Just us girls on the couch chatting about anything our little hearts desire.
Sounds pretty perfect on this cold rainy fall day.
