Project 52; Week 9 Little Red Wagon
Both your Daddy and I grew up with family close by and always together for the holidays.
We made a hard decision as freshly minted adults to live away from family.
In a place that we knew no one.
We settled in and found we rather like our little life here in Colorado.
Except at times we miss family.
We miss seeing them on a regular basis and especially on holidays.
And I wonder if you’re missing out on something that was just a normal thing when I was growing up.
But having family far away makes the time when they visit all the more special.
Life is put on hold and we do nothing but spend time together and catch up on all the closeness we missed.
My parents, your Nana and Papa came to visit this past week.
They adore you and love to spoil you like Grandparents should.
You will grow up different then your Daddy and I, that is for certain.
I just hope you know there are people all over the world that love you so so much.
And no matter where you end up, you are loved.
