Sometimes people confuse me for Katherine Heigl (ok maybe not but a girl can dream), sometimes for the baby sitter and mom and dad are leaving.  Which do you think little 17 month old Chase thought?  Tears….hug crocodile tears.

After a little impromptu dance party she was ready to flirt for the camera.  Could you just give her a million kisses!?Just a typical day of a cute barefoot family crowded up on the couch with the iPadDid the Tooth Fairy make a stop at the Huber House?Love Amy planning with Paige.

My favorite two photos comin’ up.  Seriously Chase is such a cutie!Coolest rope swing EVERAre you bracing for the snow storm of 2012?  I’ve got my tea and yoga pants on.  Now can I just stay in all day tomorrow?

Because everyone needs time together

‘Today is the first day of the rest of your life’

- Dale Carnegie

One day out of thousands you feel like everything is perfect, you have everything you could ever hope for.  But life happens and things get messy. You forget that feeling of perfect and start dwelling on the want list instead.

I want to propose the idea of taking time to get lost in your partners eyes.  To relish in their beauty and remember again that life is perfect.  That anything is possible with that person by your side.

The day of love, Valentine’s Day, is approaching.  Why not instead of bringing home flowers or candy embrace your unique love story and document it.  Spend time in each others arms showing each other just how much you love and appreciate them.

Couple’s Session I believe can do this.  Time spent laughing, hugging and getting that feeling back.  Whether you’ve been married a year, 5 years or 50 years.  Finding that love that’s been there all along and capturing it.  Capturing it so you can always see how much love is there.

It’s about celebrating your love story, no matter where your book mark falls.

If this sounds like something you would like to experience, email me

If you book before Valentine’s Day, I have a little surprise for you!

I would love to hear your unique love story.

xoxo – Rachael

I’m BACK!  Nepal was beyond my wildest dreams.  The number of photos and videos would rival even the most seasoned professional.  I’m slowing adjusting back to my life here, but missing a lot of things about Nepal.  I can’t wait to share a few stories and photos of the gorgeous people, but until then I thought I would blog a long over due family session with the Maitlen crew.

So much love for this family!  The Maitlen’s are just a ton of fun and the boys are well, very much boys.  If I could be adopted into their family I think I would choose the Mailten’s.  We had such a blast at the Denver Botanic Garden’s Chatfield, I just hope it’s not another two years before I see these wild cats again.

Who would have thought a boy would like to climb?

Meet the Valentine boys.  How Meghan can keep up is beyond me.  These boys stole my heart two years ago when Meghan and I met.  Each with his own very unique personality and spunk.  And all four with a need to be moving at any given moment.  Life moves fast, but the Valentine boys move faster!

It was a little chilly so we ducked into a Starbucks for hot chocolate.  I think this photo sums up a lot of things.

You are a hero Meghan.  Your boys are beautiful and full of life, just as they should be.
